Former Cyclone Tyrese Haliburton was drafted with the 12th pick in the 2020 NBA Draft on Wednesday, The Sacramento Kings took the point guard to pair up with star De'Aaron Fox in the backcourt. Tyrese joins a young NBA squad and looks to grow with the Kings. He slipped a little from what draft boards projected, but it was still good to see Tyrese stay in the lottery picks and get a solid opportunity in Sacramento. Monte Morris-Denver Nuggets
Monte Morris' Nuggets have earned the 3rd seed in the Western Conference and will face of against the Utah Jazz (George Niang) in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Morris holds a key role for the nuggets off the bench as the backup point guard. The Michigan natie averaged nearly 9 PPG to go along with 3.5 APG and 1.8 RPG.
