Here is an article filled with information about potential Cyclones in the NFL Draft. This article goes along with the podcast recently released, where I talked with Bryce and Evan about these potential picks.

Brock Purdy-QB

Brandon's Prediction: Late 1st Round
Evan's Prediction: Late 1st Round
Bryce's Prediction: Mid 1st Round

Brock Purdy has been all over the way too early NFL Draft Boards. Most experts rank the Cyclone's all time leading passer as a first round pick. Purdy will benefit greatly from this upcoming season (if it takes place), and will use this season to sharpen his skills to get ready to play at the next level. Purdy recieved lots on interest at the NFL Combine according to Steve Wirtel on our Podcast. are some of Purdy's highlights from last season, where he threw for almost 4,000 yards and 27 Touchdowns:

Charlie Kolar-TE

Brandon's Prediction: Late 1st Round
Evan's Prediction: Late 1st Round-Early 2nd
Bryce's Prediction: Mid 1st Round
Picture
Kolar was outstanding for the Cyclones in 2019. The tight end racked up almsot 700 receving yards to go along with 7 touchdowns for the Cyclones. He was robbed of the Mackey Award (given to the best tight end in the country) and will look to win the award in 2020 with an even stronger season for the Cyclones. He could of been an early to mid round pick most likely this season in the NFL Draft, but decided to stay with the Cyclones for another season. Kolar is another player NFL scouts are interested in, as Steve Wirtel on our Podcast said that NFL scouts have asked about the pass catcher during the NFL Combine. Here are Kolar's highlights from last season:

Jaquan Bailey-De

Brandon's Prediction: 2nd Round
Evan's Prediction: Late 2nd Round- 3rd Round
Bryce's Prediction: Late 2nd Round- 3rd Round
Picture
Bailey is tied for ISU's all time lead in sacks. The redshirt senior sat out last season due to injury, but will surely break the record this season. Look for the defensive end in the early-mid rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft. Having this football season will be big for Bailey, a player who has to re prove himself after he injury he sustained. Check out his ISU highlights I made (I no not own clips):

Greg Eisworth-S

Brandon's Prediction: Mid Rounds
Evan's Prediction: Late 2nd Round- 3rd Round
Bryce's Prediction: Early 3rd Round
Picture
Eisowrth is another player NFL scouts are interested in, as Steven Wirtel on ourPodcast said that NFL scouts have asked about the linebacker. Eisowrth has recorded more than 65 tackles in back to back seasons with the Cyclones and is a hard hitter, something NFL teams love to see. If Eisworth has another strong season and stays healthy, his draft stock will continue to climb. He recently got added to the Bednarik Award Watch List, which goes to the nation's best defensive player.

Mike Rose-LB

Brandon's Prediction: Mid to Late Rounds
Evan's Prediction: Mid Rounds/Stay
Bryce's Prediction: Stay
Picture
Rose has started all 26 career games for the Cyclones. The linebacker recorded 77 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss last year, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention honors. Rose can do everything at the linebacker position. something NFL scouts really like about the Cyclone.

CHase Allen-TE

Brandon's Prediction: Late Rounds
Evan's Prediction: Late Rounds/Undrafted
Bryce's Prediction: Late Rounds/Undrafted
Picture
Tight end Chase Allen has a much different skill set than Kolar. He can still catch the ball, however, Allen's strength is blocking. While that may not get Allen selected high up in the draft, that is still something that is much needed in the NFL and could land Allen a long time job in the league.

Eyioma Uwazurike-DE

Brandon's Prediction: Late Rounds/Undrafted
Evan's Prediction: Late Rounds/Undrafted
Bryce's Prediction: Late Rounds/Undrafted

Picture

Uwazurike has been a beast for the Cyclones during the last two seasons. The defensive end earned honorable All-Big 12 honors last season while recording 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He would need a breakout season to go higher in the draft but still looks like a solid NFL prospect currently.
