2024 Iowa State Basketball Recruiting
After plenty of success with the 2023 basketball recruiting class, TJ Otzelberger and staff now starts to shift to the 2024 class, and they have some big targets.
Commits:
JT Rock (Center- Sioux Falls, SD)
7 Footer JT Rock was the top target for the Cyclones in 2024 and committed to Iowa State. He stands alone as the top player from South Dakota in the class of 2024. The 7 footer held offers from Creighton, Purdue, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and others to go along with the Cyclones offer. Rock has a great shooting stroke and nice handles which is especially rare for a 7 footer. Rock also has some nice post moves as you can see in these highlights below:

Nojus Indrusaitis(Guard-Lemont, IL)
Indrusaitis, the number 65 player in the class of 2024 by 247 Sports, has been offered by the Cyclones. The Illinois guard has also racked up offers from Depaul, Iowa, Illinois, Marquette and others.
Dwayne Pierce (Forward-New York)
Christ the King Small Forward Dwayne Pierce has Iowa State committed to Iowa State over Memphis, Penn State, Seton Hall, and Florida State. Pierce is ranked as the number 70 recruit by Rivals, 101 by 247 Sports and the consensus 83 overall recruit in the 2024 class by On3. He is a defensive-minded forward and fits perfectly in TJs scheme. He was in attendance for Iowa State's win over Texas last week at Hilton.
Offered:
Daniel Freitag (PG- Minneapolis, MN)
The Minneapolis guard Freitag has been getting attention from a lot of schools. The 6-2 point guard holds offers from many schools including Iowa, Baylor, Nebraska and Minnesota to go along with his Cyclone offer.
Isaac Asuma (PG- Iron, MN)
Minnesota guard Isaac Asuma also holds a lot of midwest interest. The Cyclones have offered the point guard along with Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and TCU.
Tyler Ode (Forward- Saginaw, MI)
Ode is a more under the radar prospect for the Cyclones. The forward holds offers from Oakland and Toledo as well as the Cyclones.
Nick Janowski (Guard-Pewaukee, WI)
4 Star guard Nick Janowski, high school teammates with recent 2023 commit Milan Momcilovic, has been offered by the Cyclones. The combo guard holds offers from the Cyclones, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Iowa, Georgia Tech and others. He visited Iowa State on the last weekend in August.
