Ole Miss guard Blake Hinson has committed to the Cyclones. During Hinson’s sophomore campaign, the guard averaged just over 10 PPG and 4.6 RPG. The 6-7 guard also averaged 1.4 APG while shooting nearly 40 percent from the field. Before his time at Ole Miss, Hinson attended Sunrise Christian in Withita, Kansas where he was the 144th ranked player in the class of 2018 by 247 Sports. He had offers from plenty of schools, including Clemson, Florida State, and Georgia Tech. Prohm lands another potential transfer who will have to sit this upcoming year, unless granted a waiver from the NCAA. Whether Hinson plays this year or next for the Cyclones, his length as a 6-7 guard will surely help the Cyclones on both sides of the ball. He shoots in the low 30s from three point range, something hopefully Hinson can improve on in his time in Ames.
