Class of 2021 Cyclone Basketball Recruiting Targets
Here are the players that the Cyclones still have a shot at receiving commitment from in the class of 2021 along with their ratings from recruiting leader 247 Sports: (This list will continue to be updated with new recruits, etc.)

Tyrese Hunter-PG (Racine, WI)
Top 100 guard Tyrese Hunter has committed to the Cyclones. Click here for a full commitment article!
Offered+Interest:
Tamar Bates-G (Kansas City, KS)
Bates who plays for IMG Academy has heard from Iowa State. He has also heard from other schools including Oregon, Alabama, Kansas and other major schools
wesley Cardet-G (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Cardet, another Cyclone target from Fort Lauderdale, has interest from multiple schools including Alabama, Clemson and Florida. The 6-6 guard from Northeast high school is a top priority recruit for Iowa State.
Hunter Sallis-G (Omaha, NE)
5 Star guard Hunter Sallis from Millard North High school is a target for the Cyclones. Sallis is a top 20 player ranked nationally and already has attention from top programs like Gonzaga and Kansas. Iowa State landing Sallis would be an insane boost for the program.
Alex Fudge-G (jacksonville, FL)
Fudge, from Robert E. Lee High School, is a top 50 ranked player nationally receiving interest from the Cyclones. The number 6 player in Florida has interest and offers from many schools around the nation.
Kaleb Washington-g/F (Mableton, GA)
Washington, a small forward at Pebblerock High School has shown major interest in the Cyclones. Washington has great length at 6-7. Other schools showing top interest in the top 125 player in the class are Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech and San Diego State.
Jordan Nesbitt-G (Saint Louis, MO)
Nesbitt, who attends St. Louis Christian Academy, is a 4 star rated player who has received interest and an offer from the Cyclones. Nesbitt coming to the Cyclones may be a bit farfetched, but is still a possibility.
Drew Williams-F (Chattanooga, TN)
Williams, a forward at the Scotland Performance Institute, has received interest from 20+ schools. Iowa State has offered the 6-7 player from the Class of 2021. Williams also holds offers from South Carolina, Murray State and others.
Alden Applewhite-g/f (Chandler, AZ)
Applewhite, from Compass Prep, has received major interest fro Iowa State. Other top teams recruiting the top 200 prospect are Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and St. Johns
Dallan Coleman-G (Callahan, FL)
Coleman, a top 50 rated prospect in the class of 2021 for West Nassau County High School has received interest and an offer from the Cyclones. Coleman also recently held a Zoom meeting with the ISU staff. The 6-6 guard has interest from lots of other schools, including Louisville, Ohio State and Memphis.
David Joplin-F (Brookfield, WI)
Joplin, a forward from Wisconson has recently had a virutal visit to ISU where he received an offer from the Cyclones. The forward is ranked by 247 Sports has a top 200 prospect in the country.

Johnathan Lawson-G (Memphis, Tennessee)
3 Star Johnathan Lawson from Wooddale High School has included Iowa State in an unofficial top 5 along with Alabama, Arkansas, Vanderbilt and Oregon.
Kordell Charles-g (Bradentown,FL)
Charles from IMG academy has held a virtual Zoom call with the ISU staff who has shown interest in the guard, Charles has not yet been offered by the Cyclones but holds a major offer from USC.
Wade Taylor-PG (Lancaster, TX)
Taylor from Lancaster High School has received interest and a virutal visit with the Cyclones. The 6 foot point guard is an unranked prospect but has interest and offers from major schools including Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.
David Okwera-F (Melbourne, Aus)
Okwera from Australia already has offers from major schools including Mississippi State, Wake Forest and Utah. Iowa State has recently shown interest along with other schools like Kansas according to ESPN.
Jamel King-G (Scottsdale, AZ)
Iowa State along with St. Johns have recently reached out the King who plays for Bella Vista Prep High School. The 6-7 guard has interest from plenty of schools but only holds small D-1 offers.
Payton Sandfort-SF (Waukee, IA)
Sandfort, an in-state small forward, has received interest from Iowa State. The Cyclones have not yet offered, and Sandfort holds offers from Iowa, Utah, Drake and smaller schools. It will be interesting to see if the Cyclones offer and make a run at the 6-8 forward.

Tucker DeVries-G (Waukee, IA)
DeVries, a 3 star in-state small forward, has received interest from Iowa State. The Cyclones have not yet offered, and DeVries holds offers from Creighton, Drake (Dad is head coach) and others. It will be interesting to see if the Cyclones offer and make a run at the guard.
