Former Cyclones Impress in First Summer League Action

3 of the 4 Cyclones particating in this year's NBA got on the court on Friday Night. George Conditt did not play in today's game, but expect him to get Minutes for the Timberwolves Summer League team in their upcoming games.

Lindell Wigginton-Milwaukee Bucks PG

Lindell Wigginton scored17 Points to go along with 7 Assists on 4/6 shooting in just 24 minutes for the Bucks Summer League Team. He showed his great shot making, ability to finish at the rim and create for his teamates. We saw glimpses of Lindell's NBA skillset at the end of the season last year with the Bucks during the regular season, however, Lindell looks more comfortable and completely controls the floor during the summer. Marial Shayok- Minnesota Timberwolves G

Fellow former Cyclone guard Marial Shayok made the start for the Minnesota TImberwolves summer league team. Shayok did not have the deal he wanted to from the field shooting the ball, however, he converted 4 free throws and added 3 assists and 2 rebounds. He was also a factor on defense and had a clutch save and jump ball to seal the win for the Timberwolves.

Deonte Burton- Minnesota Timberwolves F

Former Cyclone forward Deonte Burton was also in action for the TImberwolves. Burton scored six points on 2/5 shooting off the bench for the wolves. He also added 4 rebounds and an assist in 11 minutes.
