Transfer Portal Commits:

Keshon Gilbert-UNLV (Guard)

Iowa State has got its first transfer portal commitment from UNLV Guard Keshon Gilbert. Gilbert also heard from Arkansas, West Virginia, TCU, Oklahoma, Missouri, and others. The Saint Louis native averaged 11.4 PPG, 3.8 RPG, and 3.2 APG for the Rebels last season. He did this while shooting 46% from the field and 38% from 3. He also averaged 1.7 steals per game this past season. While Iowa State coach TJ Otzelberger never coached Gilbert at UNLV, there was still a connection between Gilbert and TJ. Gilbert visited Iowa State Easter Weekend.

Jackson Paveletzke - Wofford (Guard)

Wofford sharpshooting freshman Jackson Paveletzke has committed to Iowa State. The Wisconsin Native averaged over 15 PPG on 49% from the field and 39% from 3. He also added 3.7 APG and 2.7 RPG. Paveletzke visited Ames this past week.

Curtis Jones- Buffalo (Guard)

Sophomore Buffalo Guard Curtis Jones has committed to Iowa State. According to Chris Williams, he visited Iowa State this past weekend. The Minneapolis native averaged 15 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 3 APG for the Buffalo this past season. Jones did this on 41% from the field and 36% from three. He also added 1.4 SPG this past season.

Jones is a guard who loves to get downhill and make things happen with a floater or hook shot in the lane. His shooting also adds a nice ability to space the floor.
