Tyrese Hunter Enters the Transfer Portal

Iowa State star point guard Tyrese Hunter has entered the transfer portal. The freshman guard averaged 11 points per game last year, along with 3.5 rebounds per game an 4.9 assists. All the speculation turns out to be true, and Hunter will be one of the top names in the portal with tons of eligibility left. In hindsight, the move to get Jeremiah Williams have been to replace Tyrese Hunter. This opens up lots of playing time and options for Iowa State to look for more players in the portal. Tyrese was one of the main guys on a special team for Iowa State, reaching the sweet 16. This is the first time that NIL has really left a lasting impact on Iowa State, but at the end of the day Hunter is doing what is best for him and his family.
