Michael Parkes (6'1" WR from Palm Bay, FL)
Parkes is a huge commit for ISU. Parkes ranks as the 251st overall best prospect by ESPN, becoming Iowa State's top ranked prospect. He runs around an 11 flat 100 meter dash and has a great frame for the Cyclones. Parkes also holds offers from Indiana, Mississippi State and others. He is a 4 star recruit and one of the better receivers in the whole class, and will look to complement JJ Kohl in Iowa State's Offense.
JJ Kohl (6'7" QB from Ankeny, IA)
Kohl is currently Iowa State's top recruit from the class. One of the best for Iowa State of the last decade, Kohl brings a superstar potential and a big build to the Cyclones. The class of 2023 QB chose Iowa State over Iowa, Nebraska, Florida State, Penn State and others. Kohl is rated a 4 star by both 247 Sports and ESPN.
Carson Rhodes (6'7" TE from Nevada, IA)
Rhodes, a local recruit less than a half an hour from Ames committed to the Cyclones in February as their first commit from the class of 2023. He held other offers from South Dakota, Northern Iowa and Kent State. He is a top 10 player from the state of Iowa.
Jason Hammond (6'3" DL from Fort Lauderdale. FL)
Hammond was a huge get for the Cyclones. The 3 star might not be the highest ranked recruit by the media that Iowa State gets, but he had offers from all over. Some of his top offers include Arizona State, Maryland, Syracuse, West Virginia and Ole Miss. He committed to the Cyclones at the end of March and looks to have an impact on the interior of the defensive line for the next few seasons.
Anthony Cunningham (6'4" DL from Belleville, IL)
Cunningham is another 3 star defensive lineman who brings size to the Cyclones line. Iowa State was his first power 5 offer, with Cunningham also holding offers from Arkansas State and Southeast Missouri State. The Top 20 Illinois recruit will bring depth to Iowa State's defensive line.
Jack Sadowsky (6'2" LB from Batavia, IL)
Sadowsky brings a lot of athleticism to the linebacker position. A little undersized, but with great speed and range, he could be a great linebacker for the Cyclones. He is another top 20 player from Illinois and was also offered by Louisville, Kansas State and others.
Cam Smith (5'11" ATH from Ohio)
Smith is the latest Cyclone Recruit from the class of 2023 to commit. Smith chose the Cyclones over Central Michigan, Bowling Green, Kentucky and others. Smith is a versatile player the Cyclones need and can play all over the football field.
